Joey Reyes is a board member for Union Public Schools. He has a heart for the community and a desire to bring hope and inspiration to current Union students, teachers, and staff as well as future generations. To be a voice for the community and to help Union continue increasing knowledge and awareness of the diversity in the Union School District.
Joey Reyes is the son of an immigrant, he is a husband and father, and has lived in the Tulsa metro area since moving to Oklahoma in 1993. He is a graduate from Union High School and he and his wife have chosen to continue to live and raise their family in the Union district. They have had four children graduate from Union and currently have one enrolled. He and his family have fostered over 50 children since 2013. He is also a co-founder of a nonprofit, James Mission. He currently serves as a trustee with Union Schools Education Foundation and serves on the board at TFI Family Services. TFI is a private not-for-profit 501c3 organization providing foster care services and care for the children and families in Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, & Texas.
